We are looking to employ an enthusiastic and skilled gunsmith to repair, modify and customize CZ handguns. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing, repairing, modifying, and accurizing various CZ handguns. The ideal candidate possesses a strong mechanical aptitude, exceptional metalworking skills and a thorough understanding of federal, state and local firearms regulations.

Key Responsibilities
- Inspection & Diagnosis: Disassemble, inspect and diagnose mechanical malfunction, part wear, or defects. Must understand firearm cycle of operations.
- Repair & Modification: Perform routine maintenance, adjust triggers, install CGW aftermarket parts
- Customization: Install aftermarket components, such as hammers, triggers, springs, etc.
- Metal Work: Safely operate gunsmithing tools (lathes, mills, drill presses) and apply finishes such as bluing. You should be able to file and polish gun components without causing damage.
- Compliance: Ensure all work and record-keeping complies with company safety protocols and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).
- Customer Service: Consult with clients to understand their needs, provide technical expertise, and recommend appropriate upgrades. Provide courteous and efficient customer service.
Qualifications
- Education/Training: High school diploma or GED required
- Experience: 3-5 years of professional experience as a gunsmith or armorer.
- Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to legally possess firearms under applicable laws
- Completion of an accredited gunsmith certification program or formal apprenticeship strongly preferred
- In-depth knowledge of firearm modification, assembly, repair, and maintenance
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Sound knowledge of firearm control laws and firearm safety
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Ability to pass a criminal background test and drug test
