We are a faith-based, family business that is marketed solely through the quality and results of our parts and gunsmith work. Our passion is precision, innovation, and customer service.
Our Origins
Owner, David Milam has always been a gearhead—someone who can’t resist taking things apart, figuring out how they work, and making them better. With nearly 40 years of experience shooting and refining handguns—and hand-loading expertise—he’s developed a deep understanding of precision firearms and ammunition.
In 2007, that passion found a new focus: CZ handguns. After picking up a secondhand CZ 75B, David immediately recognized its quality—it shot better than any 9mm he’d ever handled straight out of the box. But, of course, he wasn’t satisfied leaving it as-is. He dove into the internals, tweaking and refining its performance, and soon began sharing his findings in online forums. Before long, CZ enthusiasts started reaching out, asking him to do the same for their firearms.
What began as a personal project quickly turned into something bigger. He and his wife, Sherry started Cajun Gunworks in 2011 and it quickly took off.
