What is your typical delivery time on shop work?

Delivery on firearm customizing is currently 9 – 12 weeks.

Has my order shipped?

95%+ of website orders ship in 1 – 2 business days.  Some items may require machine work or for certain special items that require partial assembly or finish machine work, may not ship for 3 – 5 days.

Our system automatically sends order confirmation e-mails.  Once the order is electronically processed (1 – 2 days) you should receive an automated e-mail with tracking information.   Please check your “spam” folder if you do not see your order tracking in your inbox.   If you order tracking is not received within 2 – 3 days, please contact us via e-mail.  Please include your order confirmation/order number in your e-mail.

Orders place after 11AM CST on Friday will not ship until the following Monday.  If the Monday is a holiday, the orders will ship on Tuesday.  We are closed on Saturday and Sunday.

International Shipping

Cajun Gun Works only ships to U.S. Territories, Alaska, and Hawaii.

How long should I allow for slide work?

On slide work please allow a to 2 – 3 weeks.  Please send good paperwork with your slide and always include your slides serial number.  You can pre-pay if you elect, but it is not necessary.  We will contact you when your slide project is complete and at that time we can obtain your CC number.  Slides can ship USPS, but we recommend that you insure to cover the value of your contents.

Can I change an order once it has been placed?

No.  Once an on-line order is placed, it cannot be changed, there are no exceptions.  Our website system is automated with our goal being to ship as quickly as possible.   We encourage you to contact CGW for sales assistance prior to placing an order to minimize order errors.  If you make an error in your on-line order, you will have to place an additional order if necessary.  We cannot combine, refund, or merge any website orders or shipping fees.  No exceptions.

Placing orders over the phone

Phone orders can take 2-3 days to process.  If you want order tracking, you MUST send CGW an e-mail with your name, address, city & state for order verification and customer match-up.  We will attach the tracking in your e-mail.

Can you refund shipping fees on back-to-back and/or multiple orders?

No.  It is not possible to refund shipping fees on back-to-back/multiple orders due to the nature of an automated order system.  So please ensure your order is complete and accurate prior to placing your order.

Returns, Refunds, and Exchanges

If you ordered the incorrect item, returns can be made up to 60 days from the date of purchase for a full parts refund.   No refunds will be given on any items past 60 days from the original purchase date.  Refunds will be made back to the original method of payment, i.e. credit card, PayPal, etc.  Refunds will be issued 7 – 10 business days after the receipt date.  All returned parts must be unaltered, and may not be returned if installed, indicate signs of wear, use, or exhibit damage.  You MUST include a copy of your original sales receipt/invoice.  We will not process refunds without a copy of the original sales receipt/invoice.  No exceptions.

Exchanges will be considered on an individual basis and a  full or partial refund, or additional charges may apply.

The customer will pay shipping fees on all returned items if you ordered the incorrect part(s).

If CGW shipped the incorrect item(s), please contact us via e-mail or via phone and will take care of this to your satisfaction.  Please have  your original receipt/invoice number available.

Do refunds include shipping and freight?

No.  Any and all refunds for parts or firearm related work does not include shipping or freight.  If a package is returned back to CGW for any reason, we will not refund shipping charges.  Purchasing parts or firearms work means you understand and are aware of this policy.  No refunds can be given on altered or modified parts.  Please ensure your address is correct; CGW will not replace orders at no charge if the ship to address you supply if it is incorrect or incomplete.  We will not refund any orders delivered to an apartment complex if the order is stolen or mis-delivered.

Why don't you post your work order, shipping guide, and FFL on our website?

Because we would receive many firearms we do not work on.   We have to screen the items we receive since we specialize in CZ pistol work.  We do not work on any CZ clones with the only exception being the Turkish made Canik/TriStar pistols.  No exceptions.  So please send CGW an e-mail and let us know what you wish to send ship.  We do not work on the CZ 82/83 series pistols, CZ rifles, or CZ shotguns.

What are your parts shipping fees?

We use USPS Priority Mail rate of $8.00 on all small parts orders.  However, default insurance is only $50.00.  You have the option of adding sufficient USPS insurance to cover any order that exceeds $50.00.  CGW will only refund or replace any lost or damaged order based the actual insurance coverage.  We recommend you add sufficient USPS insurance at the time of order checkout.

FedEx orders.   You can select FedEx shipping as an upgrade for an additional fee.  FedEx rates are determined based on your location.  Please note, Over Night FedEx is not available in all areas, therefore if your order is placed for Over Night shipping and it does not show in your checkout, then Over Night FedEx is not available in your particular area. Firearms shipping is via FedEx 2 day Air, and is based on $40.00 per firearm, which includes insurance.  There are no discounts on multiple firearms shipments.
